Or keep track of your reading on a book bingo sheet and/or a reading log for a chance to win prizes. Not to mention, stock up on library materials by browsing our branches or placing inter-library requests through our extensive catalogue www.tracpac.ab.ca

Join the Interlibrary Pen Pal Program
Choose a library to pick up and drop off your letters and you’ll be matched with a pen pal. When you sign up, please try to commit to sending at least two letters this summer.
There’s no age limit – your pal could be any age and from anywhere across northeastern Alberta, just as long as they like libraries!
In early July, you’ll get an email telling you who your pen pal is and what library to send your letters to. Just drop your letters off at any participating library and they’ll be sent off to your pal!
From June 1 to August 31 we will be giving away these prizes:
Pizza party
Drone
Movie passes
Gift Certificates for book stores
Ice Cream
One of a kind Cold Lake themed play-doh cookie cutters
Books
AND a "sandy" themed prize from our head quarters library in the Northern Lights Library System
