Pokemon GO and Wizards Unite

Play both at the Cold Lake Public Library now and all summer! These AR games are played on people’s phones, so you can walk around and see additional game-based characters overlayed on a map or using your phones’ cameras. Being a location in these games means that the library will be one of those places that is overlayed on the map with additional information. When playing Pokémon GO you will see the libraries as a place you can walk by to get items and battle Pokémon (a “gym”), and in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite the libraries will appear as places to stop by to battle dark wizards and pick up runestones (a “tower”).
